Our builder put us in contact with Cherisse in regards to the interior design of our house. We met with her prior to starting the project to discuss what we were looking for. She offered to be involved as much or as little as we wanted. We told her she had total freedom and we do not regret that decision at all! She freed up so much time and eliminated so much stress; we are unsure how we would have managed without her. She gave us exactly what we wanted throughout the entire house. Gave us ideas we did not even know we wanted in many areas. But also suggested doing things in other areas we were not so sure of that ended up being some of our favorite aspects of the design. Our builder recommended Cherisse to us. We were building a large home and knew we would be overwhelmed with the number of decisions to be made. We had neither the time or patience to sort through all of the options. While we could specify individual things we liked, we weren't as confident in our ability to see the big picture on how things would go together and work cohesively to make our home feel the way we wanted it to feel.
Very quickly, Cherisse honed in our our likes and dislikes. We looked forward to our meetings knowing she would bring some fabulous choices for us to view. Every time, she nailed it. She stayed within our budget too! No detail was too small for her to consider. Not only did she help us with every aspect of building such as paint colors, siding and shingles, lighting, tile design, flooring, hardware, bath fixtures, doors, trim, and cabinetry, but she also helped us with window treatments and furniture. She designed 6 full bath tile arrangements that were both stunning and unique.
We can't imagine how we would have managed the building process without Cherisse. She is personable, friendly, and we truly enjoyed working with her. We cannot recommend Cherisse enough. She is quite frankly, the best! We will hire her again for any future projects.

We chose to work with Cherisse because she was recommended by our builder. He has built several higher end homes and highly recommended using her. She has an incredible eye for detail and knows what colors/designs will work well together. One of the biggest things we liked is that when we’d go to select something (tile, paint, door handles, etc.), instead of looking at a book of 1,000+ options, she’d narrow it down to 2-3 that would work and have us choose from those. Definitely made the process less overwhelming.
She helped us figure out what “style of house/design” we were going for and selected things that aligned with that style. Also, as a first time home builder and someone who was scared to death of making a horrible selection, she was there to confirm any decision we made and reassure it would look good in our home.
If you’re like us, you’re probably thinking “we can do that ourselves, we don’t need to pay someone. Let’s just save the money and use it somewhere else”. WRONG ANSWER! I can tell you using Cherisse more than paid for itself, not only by the amount of time she saved us, but also in advising us on where to spend a little more and where we can get by with a lesser expensive option.
If you’re looking to build or just re-model, it is an absolute NO-BRAINER to use Cherisse! All in all, she saves you time, guides you through the entire design process and gives you confidence in all your decisions!
